Marvin Elementary is a proud neighborhood school nestled in the heart of Allied Gardens. Our campus currently includes 20 permanent classrooms and five portable buildings that house both general education and special education programs. We are thrilled to share that Marvin is now undergoing a whole-site modernization. This exciting project will bring a brand new Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten building, upgraded learning spaces, and significant improvements across the entire campus to support our growing community and provide students with a state-of-the-art learning environment.
At Marvin, our focus is always on teaching and learning. Every child receives a comprehensive education from experienced, passionate educators, several of whom were once Marvin students themselves. Our teachers engage in ongoing professional development to strengthen their practice, align instruction to state standards, and meet the unique needs of every learner.
We offer a rich, developmental Transitional Kindergarten program designed to ensure students are confident and prepared to enter Kindergarten. Our GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) and Seminar programs challenge students both academically and socially emotionally, serving those who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and curiosity.
Hands-on learning is at the heart of our approach. Our dedicated science lab, led by a full-time science teacher, gives students the opportunity to explore, experiment, and engage in meaningful scientific discovery.
Our vibrant Parent Teacher Foundation plays an essential role in enriching the Marvin experience. Through their tireless support, students and families enjoy a wide range of events, programs, and volunteer opportunities that bring our community together both inside and outside the classroom.
